February 11: Free Broker Lunch N' Learn - What Every Business Owner Needs to Do NOW to Comply with WISP 2010 is poised to be a groundbreaking year for the protection of personal information in Massachusetts. Not only will Massachusetts launch its Written Information Security Program (WISP) requirements on March 1, 2010, but the Federal “Red Flag” regulations are scheduled to take effect on June 1, 2010. Both the state and Federal regulations impose important restrictions on business—including real estate professionals—for the handling and protection of personal information. Because failure to comply with the regulations could give rise to liability under Chapter 93A and other penalties, it is important to understand what is required for your business. Space is limited for this free brokers-only event -- sign up today!
